“Life support” by Alan Binstock, 2012 and “Golden Sun no. 1” by Norman Mooney, 2012.
Installation view of BOYS WITH TOYS (July 20 - August 26, 2012) @ Causey Contemporary, 92 Wythe Avenue Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Gallery hours for this exhibition will be Wed-Fri, 11-6 p.m, Sat-Sun 12-6 p.m.
Having worked with sculptors over the course of her eighteen year career as a gallery owner and director, Curator Tracy Causey-Jeffery had come to understand that often male sculptors who work monumentally view their equipment as their toys, thus the name of this summer exhibition.
Next August 10, 2012 from 6-9 p.m, will be held a panel discussion where the artists will confer about sculpture in public environments.
